Nice link - thanks! I've placed unopened packs of Wrigleys Spearmint gum in a few places around my kitchen. That seems to work nicely to deter ants. Down in my root cellar, I drew chalk lines around the feet of the shelves that deterred them as well.
thanks for the link! ugh i fear the roaches / fruit flies coming back. while i won't sprinkle borax all over the floor, i might try stuffing bay leaves in corners.. why not try? since i can get them easily.
