internet is spotty here cause i "steal" it (shh!) so i'll wait till i have a couple hours at the cafe ...
so school is now in full swing here. lots of babysitting jobs abound to make up for my quitting the restaurant business. i have more free time than i've had in years. some days the hours just stretch ahead ....
the first whisper of fall is in the air here in louisville. it's delicious.
i have done tons of cooking, and tonight very proudly made my first-ever batch of brownies completely from scratch! it was actually very easy. yay! can't wait till it's cool enough out to bake bread ...
knitting is coming along .... i've started my first project EVER, a scarf! and i'm almost all the way through the first Anne of Green Gables book. i am walking nearly 2.5 miles every day, usually in our beautiful parks.
now i've got to start the homework for my montessori training ... and get my grad school application in.
